
MFEE, MPS helping kids access school lunch
For the start of the 2025-2026 school year, MFEE and MPS are working together to connect more students to the Free and Reduced Lunch Program, a national school lunch program administered by the state. As part of this, MFEE is also sharing information about SNAP – a federally-funded program that provides food benefits to low-income families – and connecting families who may be eligible with official SNAP navigators at the YMCA of Montclair.

Your child’s FRL enrollment is completely confidential. The information you provide in the application is only used to determine your child’s eligibility for the school meal programs.
