We at the Montclair Fund for Educational Excellence (MFEE) were very saddened to hear about the passing of Dr. Jonathan Ponds. We were fortunate to work with our superintendent on several key initiatives that have and will continue to improve the experiences of students in our district. We hope this legacy is forever a blessing to his family. We hold them in our thoughts at this difficult time and offer our deepest condolences.
Together, Montclair is mourning his loss and remembering his contributions.

Parking will be available at Charles H. Bullock School parking lot. The District will be providing two buses at Bullock at approximately 10:30 AM to transport people to the services on a first come, first serve basis.
Following the service there will be a private repast for the family.
Dr. Ponds’ final resting place will be in Alabama.
