Please complete this form and we will be in touch to share more about the program and answer any questions. You can also reach us at dory@mfee.org.
Join Montclair seniors and Montclair High School journalism students for a unique storytelling experience built around conversation, connection, and writing. Seniors and students are paired to interview one another, write stories about each other’s lives, and learn simple storytelling and performance techniques.
You don’t need to be a writer - just curious and willing to share. Along the way, you’ll learn the basics of storytelling and performance, build a meaningful intergenerational connection, and help a young person see the world through a wider lens.
The program culminates in a joyful Story Slam in the spring, where seniors and students take the stage together to share the stories they’ve created with friends and family. If you enjoy conversation, connection, and the power of a good story, we’d love for you to join us.
