Naming Opportunities

MFEE is pleased to offer naming opportunities for grant programs tailored to your interests.

MFEE receives hundreds of applications each year from MPS faculty seeking funds to implement exciting new projects in a wide variety of subject areas.

If you are passionate about literature, poetry or drama, there are teachers who share your passion and want to share it further with their students—but they need money for books, journals, or a class trip to the theater.

If you believe students need to learn more about the environment, civic participation or social justice, there are teachers eager to open these worlds to them—but need funding for software, supplies or a guest speaker.

If you feel that a college education is a prerequisite for success in modern America, there are teachers struggling to help students pursue higher learning—but need money for SAT prep courses, financial aid workshops and college trips.

Whatever your passion, whatever your interests, there are faculty in Montclair’s schools who share them but need resources beyond our schools' budget to help bring these subjects to life for our students.

If you are willing to pledge $10,000 or more over a three year period, MFEE will work with you to select and fund grant applications in your interest area and bundle them into a grant program named for you or someone you wish to honor or remember.

Your gift will directly impact student learning while inspiring others to support educational excellence in Montclair Public Schools. Through recognition in MFEE publications and on its website, your named grant program will be a source of pride and a reminder to all of your dedication to Montclair, its public schools, and the future of our children. In honor or memory of a loved one, it offers a lasting legacy or a gift not just to MFEE but to someone special in your life.

Regular entry fee is $20/person ($15/teen).
Special Yogaship entry fee is $50/person ($45/teen) and includes a special limited edition yogamat.
